Portfolio Assets

Guide to the Portfolio Assets tab, including metrics for energy consumption, and generation, with group-by and filtering functionality.

The Inventory Dashboard showcases the portfolio that makes up the energy and carbon accounting for Scope 2, in this case as a list of Sites (where sites are considered assets that produce emissions) and a list of Contractual Instruments (considered to be contracts that further mitigate those emissions). The Inventory Dashboard also showcases energy generation data from contracts and from onsite systems, with an ability to filter down the data and to view the charts broken up by different ‘Group by’ categories.

Inventory dashboard provide a way for users to:

  • See the generation that had been delivered and to understand where energy was coming from
  • Visualize the onsite solar data across many sites, and export
  • Filter and ‘Group by’ the data for an ability to ‘slice and dice’ the information in different ways to visualize and export the data in CSV form for further analysis

Metrics

This dashboard contains the following metrics:

  • Portfolio map and list of sites
  • Energy Consumption
  • Onsite Generation

Site page

On a site page, you can view information about a particular site, including specific metadata (i.e name, address, and start date). Additionally, you can see energy and carbon metrics, such as electricity usage, location-based emissions, and CFE score. To return to the portfolio assets list, simply use the breadcrumbs located in the top left corner. If you want to learn more about a specific meter, click on it from the meter list card, and a side-panel will appear with all the relevant details.

Group by functionality

This functionality on the portfolio assets page allows for aggregated data analysis based on the chosen dimension, such as property type (Retail, Office, Datacenter, etc.). The available dimensions currently include Site, Property Type, Country, Balancing Authority, and None.

Filtering functionality

Filtering allows you to select categorical criteria to focus on and see specific data related to those selections. It's important to note that filtering is different from selecting a date range, which is a separate function. By using filtering, you can narrow down the options and only consider sites that are relevant to your calculations.
